Playdead is finally working on a new project. The creators of Limbo and Inside, who have become renowned thanks to these two great experiences, are ready to get back into the game with a third-person title. The first details have emerged thanks also to a list of free job positions shared by the firm, which is therefore taking on. The title will be set "in a remote corner of the universe" and the first concept art shows a sad and gray world explored by an astronaut.
The style is unmistakable Playdead, reminiscent of the other two titles of which they are creators, although more similar to an Inside than to Limbo. Unfortunately being at the beginning of the development cycle, there is nothing else on the plate, no target console or planned release year as a target. However, it is always comforting to see the small houses that have formed today's indie market return to the game with new, exciting projects, and we hope Playdead manages to maintain its qualitative pace by releasing a new masterpiece.
