In the course of your games you may have come across some players in possession of some hats that do not normally appear on the available list, such as a Cerusico mask, Jason Voorhees mask, a pumpkin head or even a cleaver planted in the head .
The solution is unexpectedly all too simple: these are exclusive customization elements made available over the course of last year over the period of Halloween and Christmas.
Consequently to be able to unlock them you will have to perform a rather classic gesture, especially for the oldest regulars of the Animal Crossing series, we are talking about changing the date of your devices (the so-called Time Travel). This simple procedure can be performed both on PC and on Android and IOS devices.
In each of the three cases, all you have to do is open your time and date settings, disable the automatic synchronization option (if active), and finally change your date by setting 31 October and 25 December 2019.
After setting one of these two dates, all you have to do is log into Among Us, enter a lobby and, at this point, you will be able to see the new hats added to the wardrobe list (via the "customize" option from your computer) . If these customization items do not appear immediately, all you have to do is close and reopen the game or, if it still does not work, reset the date and repeat.
The best part of all of this is that you absolutely don't have to keep the fake date in order to use these unique hats from Among Us. Indeed, from the moment these have appeared among your personal items, you can continue to use everything even after having reset the correct date and time.
And that's it, now you can do your misdeeds as an imposter, or help your companions escape the station (or identify the imposters) with a new set of unique customization elements!
