Today is the news that Among Us, the popular multiplayer survival game finally arrives also on the Playstation console, more precisely on PS4 and PS5. This announcement took place during Sony's State of Play held yesterday afternoon. With these new versions, players will receive the brand new skin inspired by the PlayStation 5 exclusive Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, of which we invite you to read our preview here. Gamers on Sony devices will also have the cross-platform support for online multiplayer between the two consoles.
Among Us is a very simple but at the same time frenetic base game, in which the goal is to recognize who on the team is actually the alien who is trying to sabotage the ship. Last year the game came to win the like award Best Multiplayer Game and Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2020. The success of this title was so great that the development team opted to continue working on it rather than build a sequel.
After the landing of this title last December on the Nintendo Switch, and after its Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions were also announced, here is the new news that many were waiting for. While Among Us is therefore committed to arriving on Sony consoles, unfortunately the exact dates on which this will happen are not yet known, if not in a generic 2021.
