ASUS has unveiled an addition to its power supply series ROG Strix with a new model from 850 Watt. The series was, so far, driven by a model from 750 W.
ROG Strix 850 W is available in a new finish White edition, which sees a combination of colors predominantly white and silver. Matte white with silver accents makes up the power supply body, the fan wheel AxialTech and cables. Under the shell, ROG Strix 850 W features a design single track + 12V 80 Plus Gold rated efficiency, LLC full bridge resonant converter, DC to DC switching and sync rectifier. Among its connectors are a ATX 24 pinTwo 4 + 4 pin EPS, six 6 + 2 pin PCIe, ten SATA e three Molex.
ASUS is likely to extend White Edition treatment to other models Series ROG Strix-G PSU.
The certification of this PSU is 80 PLUS GOLD, The price has not yet been communicated by the company.
