Bandai Namco acquires Reflector Entertainment, the studio behind Unknown 9: Awakening.
Bandai Namco COO Arnaud Muller commented on the news: “Designing and developing the content that we will publish and distribute is the foundation of our strategy. Reflector Entertainment's creative vision and development capability will support Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe in creating breathtaking experiences over the years. We look forward to working with such a skilled team and welcoming them into the BNEE family. "
Reflector Entertainment is currently working on the highly anticipated next-gen game Unknown 9: Awakening. Although to date the game has shown itself with only one trailer, the title seems very interesting and has certainly left gamers with the desire to learn more..
The transaction will become effective and complete in the fourth quarter of 2020. Upon completion of the acquisition, Alexandre Amancio will become Chief Creative Officer of Reflector Entertainment and will work alongside Hervé Hoerdt, Vice President of content, marketing and digital at Bandai Namco.
