We just tried, at the booth of 2K, the build Gamescom 2019 of what now promises to be one of the most awaited and talked about titles of this next, very hot autumn. We are obviously talking about Borderlands 3!
Our experience, after a short introductory video that highlighted, among other things by now known on the third official chapter of the Crypt Hunters saga, on some new features of the perhaps most characteristic feature of this title, which promises to be truly immense: multiplayer .
In Borderlands 3 the cooperative multiplayer, which we remember will also be possible locally, with the good old split screen, will have the unique feature of automatically adapting the loot of various weapons and equipment, to the level of all the players in the field. In practice, everyone, even playing in a cooperative with one or more friends, will be able to get their hands on equipment suitable for their level, so as to be able to proceed safely without too many problems, making their character grow optimally, without weighing on their companions and hinder their progression.
The most interesting part of the presentation, however, was the test of the Trial to Survive mode, or a sort of arena mode, with successive waves of opponents one more dangerous than the other, to be exterminated without mercy, obviously trying to stay alive as much as possible.
The demo we tried was definitely set on a hardcore difficulty, which suggests the placement of this mode in the end game phase. By doing so, we were able to try out characters already of a certain level, which allowed us to appreciate the characteristics and abilities of the new three classes of Crypt Hunters and the renewed talents of the now inevitable Siren, one of the constants of the Borderlands titles. !
The test has done nothing but confirm the idea that by now all those who have tried the game have ... Borderlands 3 will undoubtedly be one of the best titles of this generation by now at sunset. A worthy swan song, ultimately!
