cyberpunk 2077, Action-adventure RPG signed by the team of CD Projekt RED and recently landed on PC and old and next-gen consoles, from the very first sequences it proved to be full of references, cameos and easter-eggs. It would also fall into this category GLASSES, name capable of bringing the mind to one of the fundamental characters of Portal, a title developed by Valve Corporation dating back to the seemingly distant 2007.
GLaDOS does not appear in Night City in the guise that many players have come to know her in in the previously mentioned game, but as a separate personality of Delamain, a luxury robotic taxi service. It is the voice that allows you to recognize it: it is in fact the original voice actress who provides it, Ellen McLain, who "plays" those cybernetic clothes by attempting to offer the game character an experience based on attempts to kill him and mentions of cakes or final surprises. Do you remember anything?
How to find GLaDOS
Before you can meet GLaDOS it will be necessary to take a step: you will have to accept the secondary multi-level mission "Epistrophy", which you can access immediately after the prologue of cyberpunk 2077, walking back to your car in the garage and letting the conversations run normally. This quest will bring you directly into contact with Delamain but, in order to complete it, you will need to have a car or a bicycle. The basis of the mission is, in fact, only one, and consists in patrolling the city in search of some faulty taxis.
One of the latter will be GLaDOS and its mission in particular, entitled “Epistrophy: Coastview”, will lead you to follow a road along the beach.
How to complete the GLaDOS mission
Once you arrive at the place indicated for the search for one of the anomalous taxis it will not be difficult to recognize its true nature, since as soon as you are in its vicinity you will hear the voice of GLaDOS calling you, making fun of you in the classic style Portal and invite you to follow it so you can start a test. Following the faulty taxi will take you under a bridge, where GLaDOS will stop and bring a handful of gang members in an attempt to end your character's life. However, the latter are very easy to manage, especially since they will all arrive together on one car!
As soon as you defeat the enemies arrived on the spot, all you have to do is return from the taxi and talk to us: GLaDOS will in fact agree to return to the Delamain headquarters.
