CDPR confirms that the multiplayer mode of cyberpunk 2077, will be characterized by the microtransactions system. Confirmation comes from CD Project RED; who wanted to reassure fans that the implementation of these microtransactions will not have an aggressive impact within their title.
Adam Kicinski, President of CDPR, going into detail on the microtransactions system of cyberpunk 2077, states that the multiplayer mode is an excellent feature to allow the software house to sell game elements. Certainly within cyberpunk 2077 players will find many items to purchase, but it won't be a must. The implementation of this monetization system allows users to purchase game items, which can diversify their experience.
No further details have been provided at the moment. We remind you that the multiplayer component of the title comes after the release of the main game. The title is coming out next 19st November, its PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC , its arrival is also expected on consoles next-gen.
