Doom Eternal was released later this year on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and, waiting to know when the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions would be released, a console continued to fail, or Nintendo Switch. The release date for this portable version of the game took longer than expected, but we finally have official information about it (in addition to the already confirmed absence of a physical version). In fact, Bethesda confirms that the award-winning shooter developed by Id Software will be published in digital edition on Nintendo Switch on December 8th.
We are thus, in a completely unexpected way, a little over a week from this release date so that soon even Switch users will have the opportunity to test the Doom Slayer once again. All through the violent single player campaign, or in BATTLEMODE which sees a team of two demons face a player who plays the role of the Slayer. This version of the latest installment of the DOOM series is released thanks to the collaboration of the development team with Panic Button, the studio that has already made the Nintendo Switch versions of the previous Doom (2016), of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
The Switch version of DOOM Eternal will also feature unique features related to the latest Nintendo console. In fact, you will have the possibility to take advantage of the aim with gyro (thanks to the gyroscopic function of the Joy-Con) and combine it with the controller stick to create a fantastic combination of immersion and precision..
