Elden Ring now seems close to launch

Elden Ring is about to arrive. Gamers eager to learn more about FromSoftware's upcoming RPG may not have to wait too long, according to Jeff Grubb of GamesBeat.

It's been a long time since we've heard anything official about Elden Ring - from Software's collaboration project with George RR Martin - but the wait for more news about the game should be over relatively soon.

Speaking in a GamesBeat video earlier this week, Jeff Grubb - which has become something of an unofficial source when it comes to indiscretions- noted that it may not be much longer before the developer lifts the lid on the Elden Ring once again.

“Obviously they're working on this game… they didn't show it here at The Game Awards, but I think they probably could have done it if they wanted to,” Grubb notes in the video (via VGC).

Later in the video, Grubb added: “Here's one thing I've heard I can say: it still takes some patience. This doesn't mean days and I don't think it means weeks, but it doesn't mean months, months and months either. "

In short, according to Jeff Grubb's words, we're almost there. The game was first unveiled at Microsoft's Xbox E3 2019 conference. Since then, the next game from From Software and Hidetaka Miyazaki has practically disappeared.

Phil Spencer joked that he had played "quite a bit" of Elden Ring, although he was reluctant to provide further information.
