Godfall is a looter-slasher game for PlayStation 5 and PC that will require a consistent and constant connection, even if you play the title in single player mode.
The confirmation also took place on the official Godfall page of the PlayStation Store, where it is also specified that it is necessary to be logged in all the time.
A further confirmation was made through the official Godfall account in a post on Twitter, which says that an internet connection is required to be able to play. Moreover, the label "online game required" is present on the site in question.

It is likely that this design choice is due to the fact that at certain moments - for example by collecting an object - the server processes the action, in order to avoid the use of cheats by players and contain data stored on the server side.
