Once you get it Pantano and have completed the Mission of Cool shots, Disruptive Mine can easily separate entire enemy teams. This will usually leave one or two enemies alone and helpless against their team's entire focus. The increased range and slow effect of Blast Mine can also be useful in saving Junkrat and his companions from enemies trying to attack them. The top-up reduction offered by Boom, Baby at level 20, it allows Junkrat to drop a hell of a shattering mine, provided he is able to hit enemies as desired.

    Synergies

    • ETC
    • Muradin
    • Uther
    • Malfurion

Junkrat's poor health requires a strong frontline with which he can protect himself. The best companions for Junkrat are therefore tanks that possess control effects. A shielding support is also great for Junkrat who doesn't possess any form of self defense.

    Counter

    • Illidan
    • Sonya
    • Zeratul
    • Tyrael

Junkrat it is countered by enemies with high mobility that can easily enter the rear. Without the Bursting Mine, Junkrat has no way to escape quickly, and therefore is particularly weak against enemies who possess abilities that can continually reach him. Furthermore, all of Junkrat's abilities are skillshots, so it's very difficult for him to hit high-mobility heroes.
