Here we are back up Resident Evil 2 Remake for a quick look at how to improve inventory space and how to find all special weapons.
Inventory Upgrade
We will be able to increase the space in the inventory by finding upgrades around the police station, scattered around the map or inside some safes.
Here are all the places to find these "upgrades":
- find the Square Key and two Spare Keys, one in the shower room and the other in the laundry room of the STARS offices. Go back to the Security Deposit and enter 203, a code that will unlock a safe with the first upgrade inside;
- on a table near the statue of the girl, just outside the fence with the C4;
- in the safe in the west office of the police station, to open with code left 9, right 15, left 7;
- inside the cabinet next to the typewriter in the operations room;
- on a table in the work area of the sewer;
- use the signal modulator in the rest area of the laboratory;
Special Weapons (L for Leon, C for Claire)
- W-870 Rifle (L) / GM 79 Grenade Launcher (C)
With the Key of Spades go to the art room to retrieve the magnetic key; head to the Security Depot and open the locker.
- M19 Pistol (L) / Quick Release Revolver (C)
Complete the 1st playthrough, start a second one, enter the guard room and open the safe.
- JMB Hp3 laser sight pistol (C)
Available only for Claire, we go to the shooting range located near the parking lot and look for the yellow box with the car key inside.
We go back to the parking lot and try the key with all the cars until we open one and find this weapon inside.
- Missile Launcher (L) / Minigun (C)
When you get to the final boss, they will be in plain sight.
- Magnum (L) / MQ 11 Submachine Gun (C)
Valid only if in possession of a Key of Hearts (C) or of Diamonds (L) respectively. We get the red book from the library, go to the art room and combine it with the arm of the statue, receiving a red jewel. Combining this with the jewelry box in the interrogation room we will get a STARS badge which, upon examination, will give us a USB stick to insert into the STARS room computer and unlock the weapon.
- Chemical Flamethrower (L) / Spark Shot (C)
In the sewer area, head to the supply room, take the Queen plug and put it in the slot. A door will open, let's go inside, take the Re plug and use it in the weapons locker.
