Despite being released a bit on the sly, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has been a good success with audiences and critics (by the way, have you read our review? Ed). The title Respawn Entertainment hides some secrets including the possibility of using the double-bladed Lightsaber, so to speak the hugely popular weapon used by Darth Maul in the prequel trilogy.
To be able to use it you will not have to wait so long as it will be possible to have it after just a few hours of play, let's find out how.
How to get the double blade LightSaber
After completing the first phase of the game and the first mission on Bogano, you will have the opportunity to access two new planets: Kashyyyk and Dathoir. While Kashyyyk will follow the main line of the story of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Dathomir will turn out to be a secondary planet but will hide the upgrade needed to get the double-bladed Lightsaber. In practice it will be possible to show off this particular and lethal weapon after just a few hours of play.
Dathomir will not be a walk in the park, Cere and Greezy will warn you of the danger represented by this planet, and indeed exploring this place after a few hours of gameplay will be a challenging challenge with the possibility of dying several times. However, getting the dual-bladed Lightsaber upgrade will make future fights a little smoother.
Which path to follow
Once on Dathomir, go to the right until you find a wall with creepers which you can grab on to climb. Once you get to the top you will find a fearsome creature waiting for you: you can face it or wait for it to go. Always make your way to the right until you meet a staircase that will lead you to an alley. Here you will find another wall of vines that you will have to climb and then go to the right until you reach a chest.
From here it will be possible to jump to the right and you will see a strange tree that will form an arch on a wooden platform. Head to the platform, along the way you will meet some spiders but it will be possible to remove them using the Force.
Once you reach a long staircase there will be a cutscene and you will meet a Nightsister. At the end of the sequence you will be attacked by his two subordinates: you can fight them or continue running, avoiding them. To reach them you will have to throw yourself into the void and make your way through two ropes that hang from the ceiling, shortly after you will find a save point for meditation to restore the stimpacks or spend any accumulated skill points.
Further on you will find yourself in front of another staircase, cross it cautiously as two archers and a difficult Nightbrother will oppose you. Use the force to push them away and gain an advantageous position to get rid of them or avoid them (a great choice in this case). Go through the stairs and do not enter the door, as it will be closed and you risk being surrounded by enemies with the possible departure of Cal. Head to the right aiming the archers and through the narrow corridor until you reach a brazier, at this point follow the staircase curves to the right to cross another corridor paying attention to the Nightbrother you will encounter.
At this point in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to get the double Lightsaber continue until you reach a series of statues and head right towards the archer, from here you will reach a room with right a wall to run on that you will need to grab onto a large curved branch, pay attention to the archers that you will find in the platform above. Eliminated or avoided the archers continue your run until you reach a room with a spider and another Nightbrother, head left towards the narrow corridor and keep holding the left side until you see another archer.
Turn to the right where you will see a platform on which you will notice a hooded figure, if you wish, you can reach it to start a cutscene. After the dialogue, head to the left of the wooden platform e enter another narrow corridor where you will find a workbench, interact and Cal will install the upgrade to his Lightsaber in order to use the double blade.
