Even Mono doesn't want to be monotonous.
In Little Nightmares 2 you can find various hats for Mono, which will replace the classic paper bag with which his adventure begins. In addition to being visually pleasing trappings, finding them will unlock two of the game's trophies: “Half Hat” and “Headshot”, and therefore will be needed to aim for the coveted Platinum.
Below we list the positions of all the hats available in Little Nightmares 2.
CHAPTER 1
Cacciatore
The first of the hats, a raccoon tail hat à la Davy Crockett, is super easy to find. After entering the house on the Wasteland, go past the kitchen, walk down and then enter the room on the left. The hat is in plain sight in the center of the rug.
Nomino
This hat is only available if you have Little Nightmares 2's “La Mansarda del Nomino” DLC, but if you don't have it, don't worry: this hat is not required to unlock any trophies in the game. To find it, you basically have to complete the very short DLC.
After getting the key in the attic you should come across a nominee who will run away. Follow it to the attic. Here the creature will hide in some places and you will have to track it down.
- In the suitcase: open it;
- in the chest at the top of the pile on the right: pick up the shoe in front of the chair and throw it towards the chest at the top;
- in the bedside table on the left: open the drawer;
- in the armchair: jump on it three times.
Then follow the appointment in the next room. Here he will follow you from above depending on where you go, so wait for him to follow you before continuing. Go to the top of the room, go right and go past the shelf; grab the trolley and move it to the left, so that the nominee will climb on it, then move it to the right and the little guy will reach the other end; continue to the right up to the wire mesh, the nominee will open the door for you, enter and lower the lever that will give light to the attic.
Now you no longer need the appointment, it will be waiting for you where you left it. Go back and head to the chest of drawers in the lower part of the room, open the drawer and climb on top of it; now you just have to use the wooden planks to retrace the path made by the nomination and reach it. In the spot where you left it near the lantern you will find the hat.
Raincoat
After escaping the hunter for the first time and crossing the broken bridge with Six's help, you will find yourself in front of a pile of cages; Climb on it and climb on the pile at the top, then jump on the cage hanging from the tree, climb on its top and jump on it until it falls to the ground. The door will open automatically and inside you will find the yellow hat.
CHAPTER 2
Ball
When you arrive in front of the school entrance, before entering it using the rope of knotted sheets hanging from the window, instead go to the actual entrance, go up the steps and climb over the handrail to land on the dumpster located nearby, where you will find the strange hat.
Jar
Once in the school library, where you have to move the ladder to continue, instead of moving it all to the right, place it in correspondence with the first row of shelves. Climb it and you will find the hat on the left.
CHAPTER 3
Teddy bear
Pass the room with the X-ray equipment and you will arrive in another room with a table in the center with a large stuffed animal on it and drawings on the walls. Climb over the cabinet on the right wall and on its top you will find the hat.
Mummy
After meeting the doctor for the first time you will reach the room with the body compartments and the table with the sink in the center. To find the hat you will have to open the door at the bottom left of the table.
CHAPTER 4
Postman
In the post office you will find a room with a pile of letters piled up. Near its top there is a hidden entrance on the left. Enter and you will find the hat inside.
Hat
You can find this hat hidden in the shop with a flooded section and electricity to be removed. As soon as you enter the window, go to the right passing two shelves to find a trolley behind the second. Take it and go back where you came from; place it close to the first shelving, the one closest to the window. Get on the cart and from there climb to the top of the last shelf; from there continue on the cabinet in the upper left corner, and right next to the corner of the room you will find the hat.
CHAPTER 5
Borsalino
The last of the hats will be automatically added to your inventory by completing Little Nightmares 2. You can wear it by starting a new game or selecting any chapter. Wearing it will also unlock the “How am I?” Trophy, so be sure to do so.
These are the 10 hats to discover in the game, which together with the standard one make 11. The last one missing is that of Mokujin (Tekken's wooden man), which Bandai Namco only made available as a Little Nightmares 2 preorder bonus. Don't worry though, as the Nomino's hat doesn't need to be owned to unlock all trophies.
