The Anjanath was the first monster to make an appearance in Monster Hunter World. Although most of the people already in possession of the title have familiarized a little with the cute tyrannosaurus thanks to the three sessions of Beta, this monster can prove to be a little problematic for newcomers.

Physical, elemental weaknesses and status of the Anjanath.
As you can see in the image just shown, theAnjanath is noticeably weak to water, but thunder and frost also do their dirty work and can be great alternatives if you've already crafted weapons with these elements. Otherwise, good statuses will always be your allies, especially poison and paralysis. Also, although the Anjanath has a tail - and usually this is always sensitive to edged weapons - the head is however its greatest weakness, whether you use impact, edged or long-range weapon ammunition.
In the early stages of combat the tyrannosaurus is quite harmless, and that's when you have to start hitting it properly in the head, also because it's one of the few guaranteed ways to get at least one Fang. Breaking the head part twice will cause enough pain for the Anjanath to fall back and will be at your mercy for about 5 seconds. Once you break at least one part of it, it will most likely go into "rage" and you will understand it because of the sparks of fire in its mouth. In this case you have to start to slow down the frontal attacks a little, as his two fire attacks can be problematic, especially for those who do not have a high elemental defense against fire. Then it's time to hit it properly in the tail and roll when it turns towards you to go around it again. Once the monster's “rage” phase is over, you'll have to go back to stick it on the head, to definitively break the part relating to it for a chance to drop the Plate or Gem (depends on whether it is a low or high rank mission).

General advice
- Try to have a meal that increase the elemental defense of firerather than prioritizing physical defense. Its tail and leg attacks hurt, but they can't endanger you like a rush of fire taken in full swing.
- If the battle moves to area 9 or 5 and you don't have a paralysis weapon consider kicking one of the guards in the area when the monster approaches to paralyze it for almost 10 seconds.
- Advice that we will give against all monsters: launch attacks from ledges to ride him from the beginning of the mission, you will be able to repeat the operation after a few minutes. Knocking out a monster twice more per mission can only help.
