Milestone announces the release of MXGP 2020, a new chapter of the series with official FIM Motocross World Championship licenses. In the game it is possible to compete with 68 MXGP and MX2 riders on the 19 official circuits of the 2020 season. Starting as a rookie, players can choose whether to create their own team or join an existing one on the way to the world title.
The new Track Editor is on the way with some interesting additions. For example Heightmaps, with which players can faithfully replicate the real configurations of MX tracks. These are often built on hills and mountains. There will be four types of terrain: Plain, Quarry, Orchard and Forest. All created tracks can be shared online.
The multiplayer mode will be enhanced thanks to dedicated servers, which will allow a lag-free gaming experience. Race Director mode will allow you to create online tournaments, decide starting positions, assign penalties and more.
MXGP 2020 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. On PlayStation 5 it will be released on January 14, 2021.
