Ori and the Will of the Wisps: how to beat bosses

We have already talked about it Ori and the Will of the Wisps in detail with our review; today we want to give you some tips to beat all bosses in the Moon studios game in the simplest way possible.

    Howl

The first boss fight of Ori and the Will of the Wisps is the one against Howl, a wolf that will chase us for part of the first levels and that we will finally have to face armed only with one fiery torch: a tip to end the challenge in the shortest possible time and without risk is to stay on the right area, waiting for Ululo to execute his sequence of attacks and then approach and inflict no more than 2 or 3 shots and then back off on the right again. By repeating this operation several times - and with a little patience - we will be able to triumph in the battle without difficulty.

    Horned Beetle

This boss is an enlarged version of a more common type of enemies and, just like these more classic beasts, it will be important to avoid his charges by jumping to the opposite side with the help of the objects of the scenario and with the aerial shots. Once the monster has slammed its muzzle against one of the walls, several seconds of confusion can be used to hit it repeatedly in its weak part, that is the back of his body which is not covered with armor.

    Kwolok

After an initial phase consisting of one of the classics leaks of Ori and the Will of the Wisps, in which we will have to move quickly underwater avoiding obstacles as we escape, we will come face to face with the huge enemy.

In the first stage we will be able to hit it without problems, with a crystal on the right that will also allow us to recover life. It's important don't stay close to Kwolok who will otherwise try to attack with his tongue, trying to send back to the sender - using the shot - the many spheres that he will throw at us. One method that will take a large amount of life away in a short time involves equipping spiritual slash e spiritual destruction: climbing the walls (for which it will be necessary to have equipped the appropriate skill, essential to succeed in this fight) and jumping towards the boss, it will be possible to perform a large number of hits alternating the two attacks - with the spiritual destruction that will allow us to stay longer suspended in the air and therefore to launch more attacks.

In the second phase, when the scenario is full of water, it will be necessary to repeat the same operation by jumping out of the water near the boss, using the walls to avoid area attacks, although it will be important to keep hitting and not give the enemy respite.

    blackberry

This fight is one of the most difficult in Ori and the Will of the Wisps and will see us face a fearsome giant spider. Here too it will be important to have it equipped the ability to climb walls to reach the blue crystal located at the top left and the one to produce light around Ori so that he does not die when - at a certain point in the battle - it suddenly gets dark. To easily avoid the attacks you will have to pass as long as possible in mid-air or attached to walls, descending to eliminate the little spiders when they appear and then return to safety. It is good to remember that the only point where you can hit the animal is there forehead and, when the opportunity arises, they can send the fireballs back with the Shot that will throw at us. An escape phase will then follow and then another combat phase, in which, however, the mechanisms of the previous ones can be followed.

    Willow stone

This mini-boss who meets in the final part won't be too complex to beat. To defeat it, just send back the balls thrown through the Shot to the sender, also using the bring them present in the arena to change directions.

    Shrill

Stridula will obviously be the final boss of Ori and the Will of the Wisps: even here the most effective way to face the enemy will be to dodge the many attacks of the animal (which will be preceded by some visual cues on the screen) and then hit it with spiritual slash and spiritual destruction on the head, alternating shots to stay in the air as long as possible. Immediately after there will be a small escape phase and then the second phase: we must pay attention to the scream of Stridula, an attack from a very wide range, avoiding the other attacks and trying to hit it as in the first phase. If you want, you can help by equipping the bow, but even here the best way to do damage to Stridula will be to use the Strike on the animal's ranged attacks.

In the third and last we must avoid falling gliding to slow down the descent and using the Shot, to stay in the air, on the falling stones. If the number of lives allows it, to do it faster, you can throw yourself close to the animal's muzzle hitting it repeatedly with our two classic spiritual attacks and, once in the fall, try to re-launch yourself upwards and hit it again.
