The new consoles have been on the market for more than ten days now, and have been a huge success among gamers around the world. Sony, however, with PlayStation 5, can count on a very special fan, in particular of the new Dualsense controller. We are talking about the head of Microsoft's Xbox division, Phil Spencer.
In a recent interview with the editorial staff of The Verge, Spencer complimented Sony on the work done with DualSense:
“I applaud what Sony have done with the new controller. I think all of us in the industry should learn from each other and take a cue from the innovations we push, whether it's the distribution of business models like the Xbox Game Pass, or the technology in controllers. The Wii generation clearly had an impact on us in the design and creation of Sony's Kinect and PlayStation Moves. ”
It can be said that DualSense represents, up to now, the “most next gen” element of the new consoles, able to immerse the player inside the virtual worlds created by the developers. We only hope that all this potential will not be forgotten in a few months, but that, on the contrary, it will be exploited more and more in the development of both exclusive and third party titles.
