Sony would have gotten the best pitch ever in history with PlayStation 5, which would have broken all records in the launch of a console, surpassing PlayStation 4. This is stated by Cristopher Dring, author for GameIndustry, who on Twitter answered some questions about the number of next-gen consoles sold by Sony. Dring's estimates state that the Sony console would have sold more than the PlayStation 4, as well as Xbox Series X e Xbox series s would exceed sales of Xbox One, confirming as also Microsoft products has managed to get large numbers from sales.
Cristopher Dring wrote: «PS5 could be the biggest launch ever for a console, Sony hasn't underestimated anything. If I could share more accurate numbers I would, but I can't.
