Respawn Entertainment, a development team known for its signature on projects such as Titanfall, Apex Legends e Jedi Fallen Order, would be currently working on a new IP: to reveal it would be a job offer, recently published by the developer house!
According to the announcement, in fact, the team is currently looking for a Generalist Software Engineer full-time, whose task will be to join a small team created precisely to lead to the development of a new IP.
Within the few descriptive lines of the offer Respawn Entertainment he also wanted to list some of the reasons - and tasks - that should stimulate candidates to propose themselves. The potential candidate, a pioneer of new technologies designed to allow an adventure "forever", will in fact have the opportunity to become part of a group in which each member will have their own impact, focused on gameplay and good feeling, where he will be able to work closely with project leadership in an extremely flat structure.
Once we have listed what should be the reasons why each interested should submit their application, the team also wanted to list the responsibilities falling on the shoulders of the new incoming figure. The latter must be able to solve challenges in each of the different development areas (from AI to networking, passing through audio and art), coordinate the team in such a way as to allow each of its components to exploit their strengths to the fullest and actively participate in promoting an inclusive work environment.
Last, but not least, are the requirements requested by Respawn Entertainment to be able to join the team. In fact, in order to propose itself, the team considers the knowledge of the C ++ language, vector mathematics and linear algebra to be extremely useful, combined with the passion for creating video games and the ability to maintain a balanced approach between the exploration of concepts and delivery of a finished work.
