Today comes special news for lovers of Square Enix's JRPG titles thanks toannouncement of the arrival of SaGa Frontier Remastered during the summer of 2021 via global release. The title will be made available in digital format on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC and Android and iOS mobile devices.
This is the restoration of the famous title released in 1997 on the first PlayStation (in 1998 the arrival in the USA) and never reached Europe and will see the seven historical protagonists present in the original in action again, with the inclusion of Fuse which will thus bring the possibility to choose between eight different playable characters.
Each character will have a different goal and ending, too the choices made by the player will have repercussions on the events thanks to the Free-Form Scenario System. In this way it will be possible to manipulate and expand the story in a personalized way for each player. Of course, the title will enjoy a graphic restyling that will bring characters, environments and enemies to a high definition resolution. Also the game menus will be revisited in a modern way and other interesting features will be added like the ability to play the title at 2x speed.
We just have to wait until 2021 to rediscover SaGa Frontier in the Remastered version.
