Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice it is full of enemies ready to kill you, like all previous From Software titles. Fighting them means exploiting quick reflexes and observational spirit to avoid enemy attacks and find the perfect timing to sink the blade into the flesh of your opponents.
For some enemies, however, you will have an extra weapon at our disposal, or more than anything else, a tool more suited to exploit weaknesses of some of them.
These weapons will be added to the Shinobi prostheses, Sekiro's special left arm that allows him, among other things, to hook up to buildings and trees: you can buy new ones, get them by defeating bosses or simply recovering them around the game world. There are 3 prostheses that, at least initially, can make your life easier and so let's see together what they are:
- Castagnola Shinobi
Useful in many cases, especially against animals. You can use it for distract enemies and neutralize them, or at least make them vulnerable to some attack while they are confused. After setting aside the 500 Sen needed to grab it, head to the outermost wall, near the stairs leading to the area's altar. Pass the woman who thinks you are her son, continue to the left of the ladder from which cannonballs will be fired at you and reach the base of the stone tower. Climbing it, we will find a Merchant who will provide us with the Firecracker. Try using this weapon against the Fiery Bull and Gyoubu for example.
- Fiery Jet
Perhaps the easiest Prosthetic Tool to "lose along the way" remains essential against a specific type of enemy, namely those pretty red-eyed berserker (Including Chained Ogre). These enemies don't react to your hits or parries, but they are sensitive and afraid of fire, an element that will make them susceptible to your attacks, in addition to inflicting the classic fire damage.
From the dilapidated temple, go to the woman in the destroyed house in Ashina and make her believe she is their son. It will give you a bell to bring to the Buddha, an activity that will take us back to the past, with the Hirata mansion attacked and set on fire by bandits. Once in the past, keep going until the road leading to the mansion; From the idol statue, go through the locked gate and push yourself to the far end of the area. Arrived at a small bonfire, we will find the Tool right in the center of it.
- Loaded Ax
One of the most powerful tools, useful for getting rid of shielded enemies and assassins with big hats. You can find it immediately after the Burning Jet. After the bonfire, continue along the road that leads up the stairs, arriving at the Wounded Samurai that will tell you that the ax is nearby. Back on the main road, you will see two enemies in front of a closed gate.
Turn around, climb up the wall on the left and you will find yourself facing a small building with two enemies in front of it. Kill them and enter the building to get the ax.
