Silverstone presented its series Essential ET700 (template: SST-ET700MG), a 700 Watt which offers a high cost / performance ratio, competing with the likes of antec HCG Gold, Cooler Master MWE Gold, etc. The power supply offers efficiency 80 Plus Gold, fully modular cabling, with flat ribbon cables. Some features compatible with HEDT as two connectors EPS a 8 pin (one of which splits into 4 + 4 pins), plus four PCIe power connectors 6 + 2 pin, eight Sata feeding, three Molex, a Mountain, and obviously theATX a 24 pin.
Silverstone ET700 features a single rail design + 12V and more common electrical protections, such as overvoltage / undervoltage, overload, overheat and short circuit protection. A 135mm fan is used to keep the unit cool, blowing in 18 dBA (minimum) until 60% load and only increases further. Designed by Silverstone with complete control over component selection, theET700 is produced by CWT. The availability ofET700 is scheduled for late January or early February 2020.
Once released, it will cost approx 100 €.
