Bandai Namco held a special stream yesterday for the XNUMXth anniversary of the Tales of series and the producer, Yusuke Tomizawa, took the opportunity to confirm that in 2021 they will arrive news about Tales of Arise, the next chapter in the series.
At the beginning of the stream, Yusuke Tomizawa began by saying:
We can't tell you much about our next-gen titles today. We have continued to develop throughout 2020 but we apologize for not having given you any news to date. However, we are preparing for a series of announcements that we will make in the course of 2021 for Tales of Arise. Development is progressing well. We will bring you some exciting news about the Tales of brand so wait for us. Today, the XNUMXth anniversary of the series, represents a turning point for the series. Things will be different from now on. I want it to be clear. Again, I apologize for not giving you any news but wait for us, it will be worth it.
The first title in the series, Tales of Phantasia, was released on December 15, 1995. To celebrate the anniversary, the developers and teams shared a lot of anecdotes about the Tales of series series. Tales of Arise was officially announced at E3 2019 and is expected on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It was supposed to come out in 2020 but has been postponed to a later date.
