In the latest issue of Famitsu there is a lot of talk about the new The Nioh Collection for PlayStation 5. The issue contains an interview with Fumihiko Yasuda by Team Ninja, Koei Tecmo's studio. Yasuda also talked about a hypothetical Nioh 3, thinking it might also contain an open world structure.
Yasuda also introduced all the novelties he enjoys the PlayStation 5 version of the Collection and some curiosities. Here's what they are:
- The PlayStation 5 version has all the features removed to optimize the PlayStation 4 version
- Support Adaptive Trigger.
- Dark Souls has an open world structure, unlike Nioh, and this standard could be implemented in the next Nioh, which was already thought of in the past.
- After Nioh 2 it was decided to stop with the saga but it could only be a momentary stop
- One of the possible settings of the third chapter could be the China of the Three Kingdoms.
- Yasuda would like to create the next Ninja Gaide title but there are currently no signs.
The Nioh Collection will be available from tomorrow, February 5th.
