Publisher Reef Entertainment and Teyon developers have recently announced that Terminator: Resistance Enhanced will arrive on PS5. It was also announced that those who own a copy of the original Terminator: Resistance for PlayStation 4 will receive a free upgrade for the next-gen version. Terminator: Resistance Enhanced will also contain the various introductions and patches arrived on the PC version of the original title, along with other new features.
The new version in question will take advantage of the capabilities of the new hardware available to make numerous improvements to the title, including:
- a new "Infiltrator Mode", which sees the player in the role of the famous T-800
- improved graphics, with 4k and 60 fps, high resolution textures, improved lighting system, and much more
- four times faster loads
- exploitation of DualSense features, including adaptive triggers used for weapons and LEDs that change color based on the character's health
- ability to monitor all progress in missions and trophies
Terminator: Resistance Enhanced will be available in two different physical versions, a Standard and a Collector's, and a new expansion will arrive for PS2021 and PC from the summer of 5.
Terminator: Resistance Enhanced will arrive on March 26 on PS5. Recall that the original Terminator: Resistance was released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam) in November of 2019.
