About two weeks after its launch, The Medium updates with patch 1.1. released by Bloober Team as the first update of its new horror is already available on PC and Xbox Series X / Xbox Series S.

The list of fixes made on The Medium with patch 1.1 is available on Steam, but here are the highlights (in English):
- Performance optimizations across the whole game
- Eliminated gameplay bugs in various locations
- Eliminated known game crashes
- Eliminated game bugs reported by the community
- Graphical bug fixes across the whole game
- Improvements in camera operation and settings
- Scene lighting fixes in various locations
- Fixes for reported crash issues when loading saves
- Improvements in interactions with in-game events and characters across the whole game
- Raytracing optimizations across the whole game
- Game sound fixes
Substantially Bloober Team worked on optimizing the title, removing various bugs as well as fixing some technical aspects that in some cases could cause the crash (including several reported by the attentive community). In short, the work was done in order to make The Medium even more performing and enjoyable.
