The horror title in development at the Polish studio Bloober Team it was in fact expected for December 10, but today, the game's official Twitter account, announced its postponement to January 28, 2021.
After much thought and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to delay the launch of The Medium until January 28, 2021.
It wasn't an easy decision to make, but it was necessary due to both the Covid-19 situation in Poland and the current market release date for other games. Bloober Team remains committed to delivering our biggest, most ambitious and scary experience ever.
The extra development time will be used to further clean up the game, ensuring that we best deliver our innovative take on psychological horror.
Rest assured, the delay will not prevent us from sharing more information with you. We will reveal more about The Medium soon
In short, if Covid has put its own, the release date concurrent with Cyberpunk 2077 gave the coup de grace, leaving no other choice for developers.
To play The Medium we would therefore have to wait about fifty days more.
