TP Vision and the legendary British audio engineering company Bowers & Wilkins have decided to extend their highly successful exclusive partnership.
Initially announced in June 2018, the partnership proved to be at the forefront of the premium TV market, bringing to light the extraordinary Ambilight TV series that is credited with creating a new benchmark for picture and sound quality.
The collaboration continues to be one of the most exciting developments in the industry, with a new OLED + to be unveiled in the second half of 2020, as well as many LCD models with smaller screens.
The results of the partnership are very clear. The three OLED + Ambilight TVs launched so far have met with tremendous acceptance from consumers, the commercial channel and the media, winning a staggering 95 awards across Europe over the past 18 months. In particular, the 984 ″ OLED + 65 model has been recognized as the new reference in the TV market for performance and design, establishing a quality standard that is unmatched today.
The new Philips Ambilight premium TVs will continue to combine the two companies' world-renowned technologies and engineering expertise, ensuring the best possible TV and audio experience.
The collaboration is further enhanced thanks to the long tradition that both brands have of developing their technologies internally, with total control at every stage of product development and production. This policy is made even more effective and efficient by the location in Europe of the engineering structures of both brands. TP Vision has an innovation center in Ghent, Belgium, while Bowers & Wilkins' research and development center is located in Southwater, UK.
