Let's start with two certain news: SAYS THE is working on a new Battlefield, according to Justin Wiebe (Senior Design Director of the studio) and certainly chapter 6 of the franchise is due out by the end of 2021. Having said that, can we be sure that the two are inextricably linked?
It's wondrous I get to work on a game I fell in love with almost 20 years ago! The sandbox play of 1942 was just amazing for its time. I look forward to hearing from all of you what you loved and hope for in a future BF game.

DICE LA has obviously already supported the development of the well-known series, but we know that in January 2020 Respawn Entertainment has in turn taken over Dice LA. At that time, reportedly, there were plans to change the name of the studio and release a completely new title, but apparently the team will still be working on Battlefield after all.
Of course, the Los Angeles-based DICE studio could be split into two teams, which they will work on simultaneously Battlefield 6 is on a new project.
Wiebe did not fail to highlight his excitement for the project.

It is therefore not clear whether it is a new game in the Battlefield universe or what EA has already anticipated the preview for.
What is certain is that the hype for Batllefield 6 has just taken off, and the reveal of spring is near.
