    The release of Dying Light 2 is now near e the competent bodies have already started the evaluation work on the game contents. Normally, the Entertainment Software Rating Board rating is not a topic of interest to gamers outside the United States, however in this case the North American agency unwittingly assumed the role of leaker.



    Will Dying Light 2 have cross-play and microtransactions?


    The American body responsible for the rating, similar to our own PEGI, has in fact classified some details of Dying Light 2 that would reveal information on the game that had not yet been officially communicated. The ESRB notes two characteristics in particular: the interaction between users also through different platforms and the presence of in-game purchases.

    The conclusions that can be drawn are quite simple: Techland's survival horror will have cross-play and microtransactions. This information, however, are still refutable by the developers. Also, not knowing much about the actual gameplay of the title it is still difficult to predict how this will impact players.


    Dying Light 2 will arrive on consoles and PC on December 7, 2021, until then stay tuned for further updates.
