Dark Souls II - Secret Boss Guide

Dark Souls II - Secret Boss Guide

One of the most appreciated features of the Dark Souls saga is the total freedom of movement that is left to the player. Fans of the game are, in fact, used to puzzling to find certain weapons, armor and other useful objects in order to improve their character.

We have already explained to you where to find the human effigies, rings and fragments of estus flask now we will present you a guide to the secret boss of the game, the Dark Hunter.

Aesthetically he is one of the most evocative bosses of the saga, he will present himself to you as an angel armed with a sword and his beauty is directly proportional to the difficulty you will encounter in beating him.

First, in order to access the area where the enemy is located you will have to join the dark pact and to do this you will have to talk to the NPC sitting in the wheelchair, Grandhal the Dark Seeker in all three places he is in which are:

    1) Black Gorge, from the first bonfire in the area, you will have to continue towards the boss staying on the right. Past the worm, you will notice a small ledge, go down there very carefully. From there it will be necessary to take another leap into the abyss, again on a small platform. You will enter a small cave where you will have to face two giants, by killing them you will get the Forgotten Key which opens, in addition to the double door closed in the Black Gorge, two other identical doors in the Drain and in the Well of Majula. Go back to the first ledge, open the door and you will find Grandhal. Interact with him.

    2) Shady woods, in the same area where Ornifex is present there will be the leader of the dark pact, impossible not to notice.

    3) Drangleic Castle, in the room where you will have to face the sentries of the ruin, by opening the last door on the left you will access a small cave, you will meet them for the third time Grandhal.

At this point it will be possible to join the pact and, in exchange for humanity it will be possible to access the Dark Chasm, mini areas in which you will have to defeat the Black Phantom. Once all three dungeons have been completed, one for each location where the Grand Master is present, automatically at the end of the last Chasm a new area will materialize in which, in fact, you can fight against the Dark Hunter.

The battle in the early stages will be simple, just dodge the Angel's powerful spells and attack, possibly with weapons with a fire attribute.

The real problems will begin when, lost half of life, the monster splits and you find yourself fighting against two enemies. Always keep your guard up and always focus on the same target.

Characteristic, if you want, more mangy than the boss, is that for every attempt you make to defeat him you will have to use a humanity to reopen the Dark Chasm, so we refer you to our guide on how to have "infinite human effigies".
