ASUS launches the ROG Strix XG17AHP portable monitor

ASUS today unveiled the ROG Strix XG17AHP, a variant of the monitor from Gaming 17,3 inch laptop ROG Strix XG17AHPE launched by the company in January. The new XG17AHP includes a new tripod. The feet of the stand fold outward from the main stand, which is Telescopic and can extend in height. This allows you to orient the Display like a conventional desktop monitor and not just like a tablet with a prism-shaped folded cover. The magnetic case is still included in the package.

Aside from that, the ROG Strix XG17AHP is identical to the ROG Strix XG17AHPE. It is an IPS display 16: 9 from 17,3 in with Full HD resolution, refresh rate of 240 Hz, Adaptive Sync feature VESA and anti-reflective surface. Since it's meant to be a portable gaming monitor to pair with a gaming notebook, it packs one battery from 7.800 mAh which can deliver up to 3 hours of use with a full charge. One connector USB-C it is used for both charging and DisplayPort passthrough input, while the monitor also has an input micro-HDMI (cables included that convert it to a standard HDMI). A ESS premium Saber DAC converts digital audio from the display inputs into high quality audio for the display's internal speakers, while also providing the 3,5mm jack option. The display weighs approximately 1,06 kg (1,76 kg with tripod).

    ASUS did not disclose pricing.
