The French software house talks about its ambitious plan for the future.
Dontnod, the authors of Life is Strange - at least until Deck Nine took over - Vampyr and the more recent Twin Mirror, continues its ambitious expansion plan as a company in the video game industry. From the latest financial report, big plans emerge for the near future.
First of all, the French group has expressed its desire to become completely independent, aiming to publish its titles independently between now and the next few years.. "Dontnod is in a perfect position to step up its development plan aimed at reaping more value generated by its IPs, self-publishing more games and extending the reach of its catalog to mobile devices in Asia."
At the moment the team is working on five distinct projects to be published in the years to come, which will complement the one in collaboration with Focus Home Interactive: "Finally, Dontnod is continuing to develop the new co-production with Focus Home Interactive, while bringing forward the design / pre-production of another five independently published titles to be released between 2022 and 2025 ".
In short, it looks like we'll be hearing a lot about Dontnod Entertainment in the coming years.
