By now DOOM Eternal and the demonic army have invaded our PCs, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and we are all busy bringing a devastating wave of fire and lead to the heavy metal beat of the Bethesda title soundtrack.
The guys at Id Software have included many bonuses in the new DOOM, including several unlockables like puppets, songs and other goodies. Specifically in DOOM Eternal we will have the possibility to change the appearance of the slayer with various skins including that of the historic Doomguy.
Getting this skin will be pretty simple: advancing in the game you will in fact obtain the Sentinel Batteries whose purpose will be to activate and unlock rooms scattered around the Fortress of Destiny.
Sentinel Batteries can be obtained by completing the three active challenges during each game mission, or in secret locations in the various scenarios in which the Slayer will make its appearance, wreaking havoc among the demonic forces.
Guess where the skin is located? Along with various powerups and tokens, behind one of the doors of the Fortress of Destiny is the coveted Classic Doomguy skin and to unlock it, as well as for every door of your fortress, two Sentinel Batteries will be required.
The location of this port is basically in the tail of the ship, as opposed to the point where the portal that will lead the Slayer to its next objective will open from time to time.
Obtained your Doomguy for DOOM Eternal, to equip this classic skin it will be sufficient to go to the initial game menu and then from the "Customize" item select the Slayer and its new skin: here you are again in the role of the historic Doomguy!
