In Assassin's Creed Odyssey (of which you can find our review here) the player can really spend a lot of time looking for rare weapons or armor and in this chapter, compared to the previous one, there is also the novelty of the engravings, capable of enhancing the equipment already in ours possession. Here is a list that explains how to get all the rarest and most powerful weapons, engravings and armor that can be found in the game.
LEGENDARY WEAPONS
Arches:
- Artemis Bow (Requires level 14, 278 DPS): Obtained by killing the legendary creature in the Daughters of Artemis sidequest
- Herakles Bow (Requires Level 44, 1965 DPS): Found in Koinyra Fortress on Thasos Island (Northeast of the map)
- Fanged Bow (Requires Level 34, 1183 DPS): Found in chests inside caves
- Achilles Bow (Requires Level 21, 533 DPS): Randomly dropped by mercenaries
- Eros Bow (Requires Level 35, 1243 DPS): Found in Andania Mine in Messenia
Heavy Weapons:
- Minotaur Labrys (Requires Level 40, 1785 DPS): Obtained by killing the Minotaur
- Polyphemos Cyclops Bludgeon (Requires level 37, 1567 DPS): Obtained from the Forgotten Isle cave, defeating the Cyclops
Daggers:
- Dagger of Kronus (Requires Level 33, 1294 DPS): Obtained by defeating Nyx the Shadow
- Arachnes Stingers (Requires Level 34, 1498 DPS): Randomly dropped by mercenaries
Lances:
- Achilles Spear (Requires Level 31, 1164 DPS): Found in the Olynthos Fortress in Macedonia
- Falx of Olympos (Requires Level 27, 926 DPS): Found in the Palace of Amphitrite
Swords:
- Pandora's Kopis (Requires Level 25, 817 DPS): Obtained by killing the Nemean Lion
- Nikolaos Sword (Requires Level 20, 564 DPS): Automatically obtained during the main story
- Xiphos Of Peleus (Requires Level 28, 983 DPS): Found in Artemisia Fort
- Prometheus Sika (Requires Level 26, 871 DPS): Randomly dropped by mercenaries
ARMOR
There are 12 sets of legendary armor in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, with 5 pieces of armor per set. By wearing a full set, you gain additional skills and perks:
- Greek Heroes Set: Defeat the 5 legendary mercenaries
- Pirate Set: Defeat the Gods of the Aegean Sea cult
- Immortal Set: Defeat the Worshipperd of the Bloodline cult
- Arena Fighter's Set: Defeat 10 champions in the arena in the Pephka region
- Amazon's Set: Defeat the Heroes of the Cult cult with Kassandra
- Snake Set: Defeat the Eye of Kosmos cult
- Achilles Set: Defeat the Heroes of the Cult cult with Alexions
- Spartan War Hero Set: Defeat the Peloponnesian League cult
- Demigod Set- Beat the game by defeating the final boss and the Ghost of Kosmos
- Agamemnon Set: Defeat The Silver Vein cult
- Athenian War Hero Set: Defeat the Delian League cult
- Artemis Set: Complete the entire Daughters of Artemis mission
- Pilgrim Set: Find 5 Legendary Chests
ENGRAVINGS
Engravings look like simple decorations to apply to your gear, but they actually grant an increase in item stats. These engravings can be purchased, but those with the best properties (the rarest engravings), are to be found from playing; each of them requires that you overcome certain challenges or meet specific requirements. Several engravings have more than one stage, and will be upgraded by meeting additional requirements or leveling up further.
- Poison Damage: Reach level 8; level 18
- Warrior Damage: Reach level 4; level 14; level 24
- All Damage: Kill 1 Leader kill 10 Leaders
- Assassin Damage: Reach level 3; level 13; level 23
- Hunter Damage: Reach level 2; level 12; level 22
- Overpower Abilities Damage: Complete Ainigmata Ostraka
- Crit Damage: Reach level 11; level 21
- Damage on Spartan Soldiers: Kill 10 Spartan Strategoi
- Damage on Athenian Soldiers: Kill 10 Athenian Marksman
- Crit Chance: Reach level 10; level 20
- Damage With Bow Charged Shot: Kill 25 Archers
- Adrenaline For Hit: Complete Ainigmata Ostraka: Ashes to Ashes
- Fire Damage: Reach level 7; level 17; level 27
- Bow Charging Speed: Kill 3 enemies in 30 seconds with the bow ten times
- Damage With Bows on Distant Targets: Kill 25 distant enemies with the bow
- Health: Reach level 5; level 15; level 25
- Total Armor: Reach level 6; level 16; level 26
- Headshot Damage: Reach level 9; level 19
