If you follow our pages you will have noticed how in the months preceding the release of Dragon Ball FighterZ we announced the presence in the game of the SSGSS versions of Goku and Vegeta, together with the inclusion of an exclusive character created specifically for the original story of the game: Android 21.
If after reading our review you have wisely decided to buy the game, however, you will have noticed that the three characters are not available in the character selection screen. This is because you must first unlock them in the game, and here we explain how.
Android 21: the fearsome android with an obsession for sweets can be unlocked in the most classic way possible for a fighting game, it will be enough for you to complete the last narrative arc entitled, in fact, “Android N ° 21 ″. This means that you must first have completed the other two Super Warrior and Enemy Warrior arcs. Basically you will have to roll up your sleeves and complete the entire Story Mode of the game from top to bottom.
For Goku and Vegeta SSGSS instead we will have to sweat a little more. For those who have pre-ordered the game it will be sufficient to redeem the characters through the code received, while everyone else can choose between two methods.
Earning Zeni: Zeni can be earned in the various game modes, including Story and Arcade. To do this quickly take a look at our dedicated guide. The game will take into account the total amount of those you have earned, it doesn't matter if you spend them. If you make purchases but want to check the total, just enter the pause menu and select the "Player Info" option. Below are the quantities needed to unlock the two characters.
- Vegeta SSGSS: 300.000 Zeni
- Goku SSGSS: 500.000 Zeni
Complete the climbs of Arcade Mode on hard mode: you may have noticed that the Arcade mode offers three different branched scales. Completing them will unlock the respective “Difficult” versions, which you will have to complete with a score of A or S.
- Vegeta SSGSS: Complete "Extreme Gravity" difficult
- Goku SSGSS: Complete "Spirit and Time Room" difficult
The two SSGSS are also unlockable in Story Mode, to do this you will have to level the respective characters up to Level 40. At that point it will be possible to select them instead of the normal Super Saiyan versions, so you will not be able to have a party with the same character in two versions. Please note that unlocking them in the Story will not make them available in the other modes.
