We could say that thanks to inXile Entertainmnent, Obsidian Entertainment, Bethesda and Playground Games, Microsoft has become a superpower when it comes to role-playing games. As for inXile, the latest game from the software house is Wasteland 3, but it seems that a new title is in the pipeline.
The head of the developer, Brian Fargo, has hinted that whatever the studio is doing, it will take a bit 'of time before you know anything. Here is his statement:
We are creating on a new RPG, and it takes a while to create them. Additionally, the title is currently still in pre-production.
So to find out more, we have to wait. The only sure thing is that inXile Entertainment will use Unreal Engine 5, but excluding this, we are not given to know anything. Surely, it will be worth it, as Wasteland 3 was a title indeed well received by the masses and critics in general. We just have to wait.
