Immediately after learning the fundamentals of the game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance it really kicks off and presents us with the first intriguing mystery to be solved. After that Henry tracked down the bandits from the Neuhof farm in Uzhitz, the story takes a very interesting turn. So here is our guide to the Mysterious Ways mission in Kingdom Come: Deliverance
The quest requires good persuasion skills and ... a good ability to handle alcohol! For this reason, in the days before tackling the mission, it would be better to hone your drinking skills with a few rounds in the taverns.
To complete the quest we will therefore have to:
- Head to Uzhitz
- Ask the tavern waitress about Lubosh, or go directly to the house with the people gathered outside.
- Talk to the bailiff
- Talk to Marush, the woman with the brown hair and the green and red dress
- Talk to Father Godwin
- Try to get him to tell us what happened
- Meet Father Godwin at the tavern
- To get drunk
- Deliver the sermon to Father Godwin
Note: this path will earn the bronze “Sinner” trophy but, as it leads Henry to have sex with the maid, it will automatically exclude the bronze “Virgo” trophy, which can be obtained by not having sex for the entire duration of the game.
After we find Ginger and reported to the captain Bernard and Sir Radzig, the latter will send us to Uzhit, a small town northeast of Talmberg. As we approach the town, the focus of our mission will change, leading us to look for someone who knows something about a limping man in Uzhit. Once we arrive, we can choose whether to ask for information in the tavern in the center or head to the south end, towards a house with many people gathered around.
Whatever our choice, once we reach the house we will have to talk to the bailiff who will give us some clarification about what happened.
Find Father Godwin
After agreeing to investigate the matter further, we will need to start asking questions of the people crowded around the house. Marush, a woman with brown hair and a green and red dress, will advise us to speak to the town priest.
Father Godwin he is in the church, just north of the tavern, busy training with the sword outside or inside the building, intent on reading.
Father Godwin he will categorically refuse to respond to our requests to reveal what Lubosh told him during his confession. But if he continues to insist, the priest will admit that he needs to think of a solution and meet him later at the tavern.
To get drunk
We will therefore have to wait for the evening to come, and then reach Godwin at the tavern. During the conversation, the priest will tell us about the Czech theologian Jan Hus, quoting some of his sermons. We will have to pay close attention to what he says, because it will be useful to us later. At a certain point, Godwin he will ask us to keep him company for a few more drinks. We accept the invitation and drink until we are completely drunk, being careful to fight with the guards when necessary.
After a lot of fun and various fornications, we will wake up in the throes of a tremendous hangover, but with much more experience on drinking alcohol! Father Godwin he will ask us for help in order to celebrate Mass. To complete the assignment, we will have to repeat what the priest told us at the tavern the night before. So let's start "Confidently", saying that God is above all things. We then continue "Harshly", saying however that "Sin is human". Once again "harshly" criticizing, but also defending, Father Godwin. The people will be happy with the sermon and will leave satisfied.
This done, father Godwin will thank us and refer us from Reeky to Ledetchko.
