Pokémon GO: Guide to Purchasable Items

Pokémon GO: Guide to Purchasable Items

In the Pokémon GO store, as you know, there are various items that can be purchased with Pokémonets (which can be bought with real money or by following this guide). Many of them are obtainable for free with level advancements or through Pokéstops, but if you have doubts about some of them here is a practical guide.

    Pokeball

These are the basic items to catch Pokémon, without them you won't be able to catch anything. Fortunately, they are very common, and Pokéstops release plenty of them. However, they can also be purchased in the shop in groups of 20, 100, and 200 Pokéballs (at the price of 100, 460 and 800 Pokémonete respectively)

    Megaball

Unlockable upon reaching level 12, they are an improved version of Pokéballs and have a higher capture rate.

    Ultraball

Unlockable at level 20, they are the Pokéballs with the greatest possibility of capture (not counting the Master Balls that are not present in the game for now)

    Fortunuovo

The Fortunuovo allows you, for 30 minutes, to double the experience gained whatever you do. The best time to use it is in conjunction with Flavors, Lure Modules, or walks aimed at the wild farm, but also when you plan to hatch eggs, evolve Pokémon, or catch monsters that were not previously in your possession. You can buy one for 80 Pokémonete, 8 for 500, and 25 for 1250.

Potions, Super Potions, Hyper Potions, MAX Potions

Unlockable at level 1, 10, 15 and 25 respectively, Potions restore some of your Pokémon's health, after they are injured due to a gym attack or after they return to your ranks following a gym defeat where they had been placed in defense.

    Esca modules

Lure Modules can be used on Pokéstops to attract some Pokémon to its vicinity for 30 minutes. Its effect applies to everyone in the area, not just the player who used the item! They are recognizable thanks to a vortex of petals that goes around the Pokéstop on which they were used. They are on sale for 100 Pokémonete each, but it is possible to take advantage of a bundle that gives 8 Pokémon for 680 Pokémonete.

    Scent

They work like decoy modules and attract Pokémon, but are for single player only and can also be used on the go. They can be purchased for 80 Pokémonete each, otherwise there are bundles of 8 Flavors for 500 Pokémonete and 25 Flavors for 1250.

    Lampon Berry

The coach's best friend! Lampon Berry can be used on a Pokémon to increase the chances of capture with the next Pokéball thrown. If the monster comes out you have to use another berry, the effect does not apply to the whole battle!

    Egg incubators

Necessary to hatch the eggs obtained. We always have one with us, with infinite uses, but which allows us to hatch only one egg at a time. If we want to speed up the hatching of the other eggs we will have to use those with limited uses, obtained with some level advancements or to buy in the shop. They cost 150 Pokémonets each.

    Revitalizing and Revitalizing MAX

They are used to bring the defeated Pokémon back to life after we attack a gym belonging to a team other than ours. Normal Revive will revive Pokémon with half life, MAX with full life.

Stock Exchange Space and Pokémon Space expansion

After having started playing for a few days and having shot various Pokéstops, we will realize that the space of the bag is limited to only 350 items. When going to the Pokéstop we will read "Bag Full" we will have no alternative but to throw away the excess items. The only way around this is to spend 200 Pokémonete at the store to expand the space in the bag by 50. The extension can be purchased multiple times. The same goes for the space of captured Pokémon.
