The Division 2 - Guide to the 12 Masks

The Division 2 - Guide to the 12 Masks

Tom Clancy's: The Division 2 features many Collectibles, including some interesting customization items for your character known as Masks of the Hunters. A total of twelve masks is hidden within the Ubisoft title, with this guide we want to help you collect them all. Before starting with the actual guide, however, we would like to point out that the enemies in possession of these masks are not exactly easy bosses to defeat, so we advise you to prepare yourself as best as possible for this tough battle.

Therefore we advise you to reach the level 30 before embarking on these activities and, if possible, bring some friends with you. Eight of these Hunters will also be in possession of one Ivory key; important item as together they will allow you to open the ivory chest in the White House (containing a weapon and a couple of items for customizing your character).

In The Division 2 for each hunter you will have to perform certain (apparently futile) tasks to make it appear. These passages were discovered by the The Division 2 community through some hints well hidden within graffiti present in the game world. First you will need to complete the secondary mission that will make you meet a hunter for the first time (Downtown East: the first building east of the demolition site checkpoint). Finally, remember that hunters will only appear at night.

Here, then, is the guide to each of the twelve Hunter Masks of The Division 2:

    Demon Mask

To find the first mask, all you have to do is return to the point where you fought the first hunter in the secondary mission mentioned above. From the large outer atrium you will need to look for polygon targets in a building to the east (they will be visible from some windows). At this point, all you have to do is shoot each target once, from the highest to the lowest; you will see the first hunter appear.

    Wraith Mask

You will have to head to the Southwest region, more precisely to the south of the Capitol stronghold, in the point indicated by the photo below. Here you will find a small memorial with a flag and a small swimming pool, at this point all you have to do is use the emote of greeting by placing yourself behind the flag and facing the memorial.

    Crimson mask

First you will have to reach the building with the large internal courtyard located just below the stronghold of Downtown East, in the southern part of the building you will find an entrance and a walkie-talkie located on a table; all you have to do is interact with each other and then run to the north part of the building (crossing the courtyard) and interact with a phone. The hunter will appear right after in the center of the courtyard.

    Ghoul mask

Reach the Lincoln Memorial, from here head north and enter the first entrance to the sewers you will find, always proceed north until you reach a staircase that will take you to a room containing an Echo, exactly to its right there will be a PC with which you can interact. By doing this you will be shown the position to reach to find this hunter, that is in the body of water present between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. Here you will find a small tower with a cloth on top for collecting water and a light bulb, all you have to do is shoot it to make the hunter appear.

    Midas and Revenant masks

First make sure you have completed the main missions of the Potomac Event Center; once this is done, all you have to do is head to this place and look for a small circular fountain in the western area. You simply have to enter the fountain and use the "Saltelli" emote to make two hunters appear (it will not be an easy fight).

Death, Cross, Diamond and Phantom masks

You got it right, in this case you will have to face four hunters at the same time! In the East Mall district you will find to the South-West of the ViewPoint Museum (or South-East of the 1040 refuge) a small park in the center of which a Christmas tree will be positioned; Proceeding west of the tree you will find a shop with a large square counter, and a lever on one side. All you have to do is pull the lever and then reach the tree and run around it for a few laps.

    Specter Mask

Head to the Department of Agriculture, which in the later stages of the game will be a "wasteland", and from there position yourself on the destroyed truck in front of the front of the building. From here you will have to shoot the windows in the order indicated by the image below. In the event that the hunter does not appear for any reason (you have missed a shot and so on) you will necessarily have to try again the next night.

    Ghost mask

Once you have conquered the Washington Monument outpost you can enter it and reach (via a rope in the elevator) the foundation. Here you will find a terminal with which it will be possible to interact; once done, three locations will appear on the screen map. All you have to do is reach these three places and use the greeting emote in front of the tombs but always facing the Monument.

At this point you can return to the terminal and interacting again on the screen will show the orange circle of the division; exit and reach the big red circle just to the east to find the last hunter.

At this point you will be in possession of all twelve Hunter Masks and eight Ivory Keys from The Division 2.
