The Witcher 3: Cat School Set Guide

The Witcher 3: Cat School Set Guide

This guide details how to get all the schemes for cat school equipment in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, in all the variants present.

The Witcher 3: Cat School Set Guide

    The set is divided into:

    • Steel sword
    • Silver sword
    • Armor
    • Gloves
    • Pants
    • Boots
    • Crossbow

And for each of them (excluding crossbow) the variants I'm:

    • Standard
    • Improved
    • Top
    • Perfect
    • Grand Master (variant included only in the Blood and Wine DLC).

Let's start first with the standard variant of the Cat school set for The Witcher 3.

The blueprint is found in a chest in Drahim Castle (located south of Novigrad). It is possible to get there by fast travel. Once on the spot, you have to look for a ladder to reach the lower level.

The scheme is located north-east of Oxenfurt, in the place called East Tayiar, reachable via fast travel.
Once there, you need to break a wall inside a tunnel with the aard sign.

To the southeast of the lighthouse west of the Novigrad port, there is an island and a shipwreck. You have to swim to the latter and climb up to enter the hold, where a chest containing the blueprint is located.

Now let's move on to the improved version of the Cat school set for The Witcher 3. In the northwestern part of Novigrad there are cliffs overlooking the water that lead to a path (finding it is quite intuitive) leading to a cave placed lower. To access the entrance it is necessary to remove an illusion through the talisman provided by Keira Metz during a previous quest of hers.

Once faced with the golem, it is necessary to break a brick wall with the aard sign (a suggestion to find it more easily is to use the witcher senses), arriving in an area where there are levers and statues. Each lever rotates a statue, and the goal is to make them all point towards the center of the room.

Once done, the passage in the center of the room will open and it will be possible to dive (paying attention to the three drowners present) in order to collect a key, necessary to open a door located in the same place where you shot down the golem. Once the door in question is opened, it is necessary to fight one last enemy. Also solved this step, just open the chest with the schemes in the room.

The scheme is located in Novigrad, near the gate to Oxenfurt, inside a house. To reach the house in question just enter the gate and look for a ladder next to the seller icon.

To collect the blueprint you need to enter Son-of-Pu ** ana-Junior's house (in Oxenfurt), and then look for a staircase down to the basement of the building.

Once in place, it is necessary to use the aard sign in order to break a brick wall (also this time the witcher senses are very useful to find it), in order to reach the chest containing the scheme.

We are halfway to the end of the set: the upper variant of the cat school set for The Witcher 3. To the northeast of the Fyke Island there are ruins, as shown in the figure. The schematics are contained in a chest hidden behind a ruined wall.

This is the penultimate variant of The Witcher 3's Cat School set. The scheme is located on the main island of Skellige (the largest one), in a cave east of Rogne. Precisely, the diagram is located to the right of the entrance to the cave in question.

If you have the Blood and Wine DLC, you can acquire the blueprints for the final version of the Cat School set for The Witcher 3, and only with the Grand Master version is it possible to activate the effects first for 3 and then for 6 pieces of the equipped sets.

Obtaining the set in question is much simpler, in fact it is sufficient to speak to the grandmaster blacksmith in the southern part of Beuclair, the capital of Toussaint.

After talking to him, a treasure hunt type quest will begin which, when completed, will provide the player with the last parts of the set. Below is the video on how and where to find the Grand Master set, in detail.

The cat school set for The Witcher 3 is just one of those present in the CD Projekt RED masterpiece and, if you have not yet played The Witcher 3, you can also retrieve it for Nintendo Switch, in perfect conjunction with the release of a patch breathtaking for this portable version.
