There are three different types of Hazmat suits in Fallout 76 but, before going to find out where to find them, a premise is a must: the Hazmat suit protects against radiation, disease and contaminated water, but does not guarantee damage absorption and resistance.
Also remember that the Hazmat suit is very heavy when new (value 5, while if damaged 4) and is very useful for exploring the radioactive areas of West Virginia.
Here's where to find Hazmat suits
- Poseidon Energy Plant WV-06
This suit is fairly simple to find as it is hidden atop a huge powerhouse, easily spotted from the game map. Once you reach it, locate the only chimney and look for a staircase that will take you to its top. Once you reach the concrete floor, go right and finally south. At the end of the path you will see a makeshift office that looks like a trailer. Inside you will find the Hazmat suit resting in a corner on top of some boxes.
- Emmett Mountain Mountain Disposal Site (disposal plant)
Here you will find a damaged Hazmat suit outside the tunnel while you will find another (always damaged) plus two intact inside the tunnel locker room. A prototype suit will be present near the generator on the right side of the tunnel.
- Federal disposal field HZ-21 (federal disposal field)
Here you will find two intact suits and one damaged one.
- West Tek Research Center (research Center)
There are two damaged Hazmat suits between the rooms in the center.
The resistances of the Hazmat suits are as follows:
- Damaged Suit - Damage Resistance 1 / Radiation Resistance 500
- Integra Suit - 1000 Radiation Resistance
- Prototype Suit - Damage Resist 1 / Radiation Resistance 1000
The values not present are to be understood as 0.
