It is a point and click with very simple gameplay and typical of its genre. In fact, there aren't as many interaction features as in the old Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure which featured twelve, but basically there are only two. With the right mouse button you can examine the objects and points of interest, while with the left button you can collect the objects some of which can be combined with those already present in the inventory.

The title was published by VLG Publishing, an indie group of homegrown origin and the same publisher of Dry Drowning. Compared to the title just mentioned which has a darker and more mature theme, in Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town there is a sense of lightness within the almost fairytale story that lays the foundations for the game. After all, Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town was born as a tribute to Monkey Island, and as such it wants to re-propose its taking itself not too seriously through the use of comic sketches and above all citations to other video games.

But a change of theme corresponds to a change of style. That is to say that if in Dry Drowning black and white was used to consistently respect the investigative and noire character characteristic of the title, here the Unity graphics engine is used in order to create a clear and full of bright colors.

The scene is modeled in such a way that the elements within it have very sweet and soft outlines, and it is built to be deliberately deformed through the use of a wide angle and lines that are not parallel to each other. On the latter aesthetic aspect the game is partly similar to Edgar - Bokbok in Boulzac.

Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town was developed by Imaginarylab and will be released this summer for PC on the well-known Steam platform, where it is already possible to play the demo in case you are curious to try the promising title.
