Bravely Default II: a new trailer shows the combat system

Bravely Default II, developed by Claytechwork, will be out soon this month. A demo of the title is already available and Nintendo has decided today to publish a new trailer dedicated to the combat system. The video illustrates the various options available during the clashes including "Brave" and "Default". The combat is turn-based and each party member takes part thanks to Brave Points (BP).

As shown in the trailer, using the Brave command, a player can perform 4 actions at once. This command is useful in casual encounters with weak enemies, in order to eliminate them as quickly as possible. Precisely for this reason, consuming a lot of BP, the components of the party would later find themselves with their guard down and for this reason it is not recommended to use this command in the most demanding fights. The Default command instead it allows you to accumulate BP and stay on the defensive, taking less damage. Knowing which command to use according to the situation therefore becomes fundamental. In the same trailer it is recommended not to spam the Brave command against the bosses in order not to fall easy prey. Bravely Default II is expected on shelves on 26 February, only for Nintendo Switch. We leave you to the trailer.
