    Cooler Master during CES 2020 unveiled a lot of extremely interesting gaming accessories, including the new range of MH 600 headphones consisting of two models: MH 630 and MH 650, both voted for lasting comfort, so as not to tire the our head during use and does not sore our ears, especially if one wears glasses. Today we are here to talk to you about headset Cooler Master MH 630, an entry level gaming headset, featuring extreme compatibility. We will be able to use the headphones with any device, therefore with PC, Console and smartphone, as long as this has the 3,5 mm jack input.

    The box that encloses the Cooler Mater MH 630 headphones is purely in rigid cardboard, in order to prevent accidental bumps during transport. The predominant color is black, even if we find purple details, typical of the latest Cooler Master products. on the front we find an image of the product, in addition to its name and some basic information such as full compatibility with any device and prolonged comfort during long sessions.

    In the back we find another image of the headphones, seen from another angle and other important information in order to better guide the end user in his choice during the purchase. The bundle, despite being basic, presents a real gem: in addition to Cooler Master MH 630 we find the 4-pole jack cable with a length of about 1,5 meters, a splitter that will allow us to separate the jack into two distinct ones, one for the microphone and one for audio, one-way microphone e a practical velvet pouch ideal for carrying our headphones with us always and, of course, an instruction manual and a warranty manual.

    Cooler Master MH 630's design is very minimal and elegant at the same time, managing to adapt to any scenario, whether we are in front of the PC to play or we are out on the street listening to healthy music, preferably Heavy Metal!

    I The predominant materials of which the MH 630 headset is made is plastic, except for the internal arch which is made of aluminum, able to give greater strength and elasticity to our cap, all without aggravating the weight. Both pavilions are oval in shape and black in color, except for a small profile that takes up the entire perimeter of the pavilion, which is purple in color, able to give a more aggressive look to MH 630.

    Inside each pavilion we will find gods pads heavily padded and covered with cloth, except for the internal part in direct contact with the lobes of our ears, which will be covered with leather. Inside the pads we also find the Left and Right symbols in purple in order to easily identify the downward direction to wear the headphones.

    The headband in which MH 630 will come into contact with our head is also covered with heavily padded fabric, in order to increase comfort and keep them on for several hours without even noticing it.

    In the lower part of the right pavilion we will find all the controls necessary to better manage Cooler Master MHH 630. Here there are a handy wheel to adjust the volume, a button to disable the microphone and two jacks, one to connect the audio cable that we will use to connect the headphones to our PC and one to insert the microphone. The latter is in fact removable, ideal if we want to use headphones even when we are out and about. It is also perfectly moldable, in order to keep it more or less distant from our mouth.



    Cooler Master MH 630 - Review

    The drivers that we find inside Cooler Master MH 630 have a diameter of 50 mm with a frequency that varies from 15 to 25.000 Hz, with a maximum impedance of 32 ohms. The maximum sensitivity reached at the frequency of 1.000 Hz is about 107 dB. The microphone is uni directional, so it will only capture sounds towards the direction we will point it, our mouth is assumed of course.

    The microphone is capable of capturing sounds with a frequency variation ranging from 50 to 18.000 Hz, with a maximum sensitivity at a frequency of 1.000 Hz of approximately -40 dB. The overall weight of the headset, including cables and microphone, is around 304 grams, an average weight, there are lighter but also much heavier headphones. Thanks to an excellent weight balance and also thanks to the extremely padded pads, which considerably reduce the pressure exerted on our head, we will hardly notice we have them on.


    Cooler Master MH 630 - Review

    We tested the new Cooler Master MH 630 with a multitude of devices, including PC, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One X, Nintendo Switch, MacBook Air and iPhone 11 Pro Max, obviously with the help of a lightning to 3,5 mm audio jack adapter. In all the devices we tested, the headphones proved to be extremely valid, with a clear and crystal clear sound. The frequencies are reproduced quite well and despite being a gaming product, the low frequencies are not overemphasized, as often happens in many headsets of this target.

    In Cooler Master MH 630 we have a good balance of audio frequencies, without having the bass that overpowers all other sounds. The microphone is also well made, and is able to discreetly capture our voice, making us understand in an optimal way by our comrades during our battles. The extreme compatibility is certainly an excellent point in favor of Cooler Master MH 630 and with only one pair of headphones we can use every device in our possession.

    Cooler Master MH 630 proved to be an affordable headset, but able to amaze us. The bundle, although essential, gives us a great surprise, especially if you always carry your headphones with you. The extremely minimal design is able to adapt to any usage scenario. The extreme padding is able to significantly reduce the pressure exerted by the cap, so as to increase comfort and use them for several hours without realizing it. The audio is of good quality, all without having excessive bass that go to overwhelm the other frequencies. The microphone is also well made and our companions will hear us flawlessly. Thanks to the 3,5 mm jack it is able to give us extreme compatibility with any device.
