    These are really dark times for CD Projekt Red: the problems regarding Cyberpunk 2077 multiply and in addition to the damage to image they seem legal disputes also arise.

    The debacle of the most anticipated game of the year is known to all: on the basic versions of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One it is struggling to function in a decent way, so much so that the game has been removed from the PlayStation Store, for example, with CD Projekt which has declared of wanting to solve problems and reimburse those who want out of their own pocket. All this has led to a serious situation, outlined by the New York Times.

    An article published in the American newspaper dedicated to the "Cyberpunk disaster" - in addition to tracing the history of the title, announced in 2012 - ends on a bitter note: some investors, with their lawyers in tow, would be preparing the ground for making lawsuit to the development house for misleading representation aimed at receiving economic benefits. It is certainly the intention of Mikołaj Orzechowski, Polish lawyer and investor CD Projekt Red, who released a statement in his language on Bankier.pl, which was then translated by the various newspapers.

    [...] Due to recent events and in particular the removal of Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store and therefore from the sale we are considering with the rest of the team the basis of a legal action under Article 286 of the Criminal Code: misleading representation for receive economic benefits.

    In essence, CD Projekt Red would have put on the market a patently non-optimized game, which among other things caused the stock market to collapse by 22% or more. Orzechowski was echoed by an old New York law firm, Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz LLP, who through a press release invited interested shareholders to contact them to bring a lawsuit against the company headed by Adam Kiciński based in Warsaw for misleading information.

    Net of the various problems on the old consoles and the various promises of the development team, Cyberpunk 2077 on PC has also imposed itself as a success by us at the end of our review.
