Kojima Production loses a very talented composer, as Ludvig Forssell has decided to leave the studio

Death Stranding composer Ludvig Forssell promised news about his future some time ago. This news has arrived today, but it is different from what many fans were hoping for. The talented music composer, author of the columns are of the last 2 titles of Kojima Production (since the days of Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain) has decided to opt for a future as a freelancer.

    ANNOUNCEMENT:
After 10 years working in-house as a Composer / Audio Director at Kojima Productions, I'm excited to announce that I'll be pursuing my future as a freelance composer.

This does not necessarily mean that the composer behind Death Stranding cannot return to the scene in the next Kojima production project. As a freelance he could still be in collaboration with the studio on the new project teaserated by Yoji Shinkawa. However, nothing is certain, at least until Kojima seriously announces his new project, much discussed in recent weeks.
