    Hiroshi Matsuyama, the CEO of CyberConnect2, has confirmed that the development of the PlayStation 4 title based on Demon Slayer, known at home as Kimetsu no Yaiba Hinokami Keppuutan, it's going very well and that a lot of news will arrive in a short time.

    On December 31st CyberConnect2 held a special New Year livestream. Hiroshi Matsuyama was present along with Katsuhira Harada of Bandai Namco. The two talked about their future plans for 2021. Here Demon Slayer came out and Matsuyama revealed the situation, although he couldn't unbutton himself too much. Official news will come via V Jump and Weekly Shonen Jump. Matsuyama explained that, although there has been no official news after the announcement, the development of Demon Slayer is proceeding apace. Many Cyberconnect2 staff members are working on it. Demon Slayer is a manga by Koyoharu Gotōge which has enjoyed and still enjoys great success. It was published by Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 until May 2020 from which the anime and the film were then taken.
